Le gouverneur
Michel Boua
Engagé depuis plus de deux décennies au sein du Lions Clubs International, le Gouverneur Michel Boua incarne un parcours marqué par un engagement constant, une passion inébranlable pour le service et un profond attachement aux valeurs du mouvement.
Intronisé au Lions Club Abidjan Harmonie en 2003, il a exercé plusieurs fonctions de responsabilité : Président de commission, Trésorier, Secrétaire, puis Président de club. Ces expériences ont constitué les fondations de son engagement. Son implication s’est ensuite étendue au niveau du district, où il a successivement occupé les postes de Président de Zone, Président de Région, Lions Guide, Chargé de mission, avant d’assumer les fonctions de 2e puis de 1er Vice-Gouverneur, pour accéder aujourd’hui à la charge de Gouverneur du District 403 A2.
Sa vision
Il rêve d’un District 403 A2 encore plus solidaire, innovant et rayonnant au service des communautés.

Fighting childhood cancer by supporting research, improving care and supporting families.

Protect the planet through reforestation, clean-up and promoting sustainable development.

Eradicate food insecurity through meal distributions and sustainable agricultural programs.
View
Prevent avoidable blindness through cataract operations and the distribution of glasses.
Disaster Relief
Emergency relief (shelter, food, water) for populations affected by disasters.
Humanitarian Efforts
Various actions to alleviate suffering: schools, access to water, support for the most vulnerable.

Investing in youth education and leadership to build a better future.

Our local causes
Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is affecting more and more men, often silently, and often too late. However, with regular screening, education, and support, we can reverse the disease.
Uterine cancer
Cervical cancer is one of the few cancers that can be prevented. Through screening and vaccination, we have the power to act.
Breast cancer
Breast cancer reminds us of one essential thing: life is precious. Just like our health, our environment is an asset to be preserved, protected, and cherished.
